Start of day
Morning triage of Slack, Gmail, Google Calendar, and comments from Figma, Google Drive, Linear, and Notion in one interactive session.
What it does
Runs through five triage sections in order: Slack unreads, Gmail inbox, today's calendar, saved/later items, and unresolved comments across design and documentation tools. For each item, it proactively drafts responses, detects calendar conflicts, and presents numbered action options (reply, mark as read, archive, accept/decline). The goal is an efficient inbox-zero flow where you approve, edit, or skip each item in sequence.
Usage
Triggers automatically if it hasn't run in the past 12 hours. Can also be invoked manually with:
- "Start my day"
- "Morning triage"
- "Check my inbox"
- "Catch me up"
Examples
"Start my day"โ runs the full five-section triage"Check my Slack unreads and email"โ focuses on Slack and Gmail sections"What's on my calendar today?"โ jumps to the calendar section with conflict detection
Why it was created
Mornings involve switching between five or more apps to catch up on messages, emails, calendar invites, and comments. This skill consolidates everything into a single interactive flow with drafted replies, cutting morning triage from 30+ minutes to a few minutes of approve/skip decisions.
